# Dimension Values _(Realtime-enabled)_

Create and maintain the values that belong to a dimension. `dimensionCode` + `code` together form the key, so both are required on create.

## Create a dimension value

The parent dimension (`dimensionCode`) must already exist. `dimensionValueType` accepts Standard, Heading, Total, Begin-Total or End-Total.

> **Caution:** This endpoint has **no** integrationId. A dimension value is addressed by its natural (dimensionCode, code) key. To assign values onto records, see [Dimensions](https://eonesolutions.github.io/eone-bc-integration/dimensions.md).
