# Adjustment Lines _(Realtime-enabled)_

The lines of an inventory adjustment, one per item and location being counted or adjusted, carrying either the new physical count or the increment quantity. Deep-insertable on create.

## Count vs. increment

Each line adjusts one item's stock at a location. The parent [Inventory Adjustments](https://eonesolutions.github.io/eone-bc-integration/core-inventoryAdjustments.md) *mode* decides how the quantity is read: in **Count** mode it is the new physical quantity and Business Central works out the delta; in **Increment** mode it is added to (or, when negative, taken from) what is on hand. Behind the scenes each line becomes an item journal line.

## Resolvers

Identify the item by its Business Central number with `itemNumber`, or by your own external key with `itemIntegrationId`. Both are [resolvers](https://eonesolutions.github.io/eone-bc-integration/resolvers.md). The document number is stamped from the parent.
