# Item Attributes _(Realtime-enabled)_

A **read-only** feed that flattens Business Central's EAV attribute model into flat name/value/unit columns, so you do not have to join attribute, option, and value tables yourself. It exposes resolved attributes for [items](https://eonesolutions.github.io/eone-bc-integration/core-items.md), both directly assigned and category-inherited.

The underlying table also stores attribute mappings for item categories and variants; this endpoint pins its source view to `Table ID = 27` (Item), so **only item-level attribute mappings surface here**.

## Reading attributes

`GET` `/itemAttributes`

It is also available as the expandable child collection of the Items endpoint, so you can pull an item and its attributes in one call:

> **Note:** The typed columns `value`, `numericValue`, and `dateValue` are populated according to the attribute's data type, only the column matching the attribute type carries a value.

> **Caution:** This endpoint has **no `integrationId`** and is not writable. POST, PATCH, and DELETE are all blocked. Manage attribute assignments in Business Central; consume them here.

> **Caution:** `itemId` is a resolver column computed per row from the item's `No.`. It is read-only and cannot be filtered as an indexed key.
