# Item References _(Realtime-enabled)_

Read-only feed of item references: barcodes (UPC/EAN/GTIN) and customer/vendor cross-reference numbers, per unit of measure and optionally per variant. It is exposed standalone and as the expandable child of [Items](https://eonesolutions.github.io/eone-bc-integration/core-items.md) via `?$expand=itemReferences`.

> **Caution:** This endpoint is **read-only**, no create, update, or delete. There is also **no `integrationId`** here; references are keyed only by their Business Central `SystemId`, so match rows by `itemNo` + `referenceType` + `referenceNo` (and `variantCode` / `unitOfMeasure` where they apply).

## Resolving the parent item

Each row carries the parent item both as the source key `itemNo` and as a resolved `itemId` GUID, computed per row from the Item record so you can join straight to [Items](https://eonesolutions.github.io/eone-bc-integration/core-items.md) without a second lookup.
