# Units of Measure

Read-only company-wide unit-of-measure master (Business Central table 204). Resolve and validate the `unitOfMeasureCode` posted on [items](https://eonesolutions.github.io/eone-bc-integration/core-items.md) and document lines, and read each unit's international standard code and symbol.

> **Note:** This company-wide master publishes as `unitsOfMeasure`. For the units defined on a specific [item](https://eonesolutions.github.io/eone-bc-integration/core-items.md), with pack/conversion factors, use the per-item [`itemUnitsOfMeasure`](https://eonesolutions.github.io/eone-bc-integration/core-itemUnitsOfMeasure.md) feed ($expand child of items) instead.

> **Note:** Read-only — `POST`/`PATCH`/`DELETE` are rejected. There is no `integrationId`: address a unit of measure by its natural `code` (or by `id`, the `SystemId` GUID).
