Read-only audit trail from the Business Central change log. Each row is one captured insertion, modification, or deletion of a monitored field; allowing an external system to reconcile who changed what, when without polling every record.

Enable logging first

This endpoint only reads what the change log has already captured. It does not turn logging on. Enable the change sign in Business Central (Change Log Setup) for the tables and fields you want to appear here; nothing is recorded for tables you have not opted in.

Resolve the changed record

Two ways to get from an entry back to the record it describes:

  • Use changedRecordSystemId (the record's SystemId GUID, fetch it directly on the matching endpoint)
  • Combine tableNumber with the primaryKeyField1Value–3Value columns, which hold the record's primary-key field values.
